Comfort in an Open Space

A library is a layered environment where reading, relaxation, and study share the same floor. Rather than imposing simple silence, the goal was to create a space that is comfortable without breaking concentration — which is why we chose carpet tile. We specified four ANKER carpet tile collections, each assigned to a distinct zone, achieving three simultaneous effects: visual atmosphere, sound absorption, and impact noise reduction.

Four Collections for Zoning

ANKER's CORE · SURF · FACADE · MIST — each collection differs in pile density and pattern language. At Munsan Library we distributed the four collections across defined zones, then carefully coordinated the colorways so that color blocks transition naturally at the seams.
