With a licensed Treble wave-based simulator, we run accurate low-frequency (≤ 250 Hz) simulations and compare RT60, C50, STI, and SPL distributions across material combinations—avoiding over-construction and trimming budgets. Process flow.

Five steps from drawing intake to report delivery. Iteration headroom is built in so material combinations can be tuned two or three times.

We select an engine—Treble (wave-based), Odeon (ray-tracing), or CATT (hybrid)—based on volume, low-frequency dependence, and geometric complexity, then build the 3D mesh.

Across material combinations, we predict RT60 (reverberation), C50 (clarity), STI (speech intelligibility), and D50 in octave bands—locking in the combination that meets targets before construction. We also render listening samples (WAV) from 3–5 seat positions so the owner can decide on what they will actually hear. *We select Treble (wave-based) for typical rooms and recording studios where low-frequency accuracy matters, Odeon (ray-tracing) for large halls and auditoria, and CATT (hybrid) for complex geometries.*

Track 02 · Block

We model traffic and mechanical noise ingress, partition isolation, and floor-to-floor impact transmission before construction begins. By comparing the impact of facade specs, window STC ratings, and floor assembly changes, we return the lowest-cost combination that hits the NC and STC targets. *We select Treble (wave-based) or Odeon (ray-tracing) based on space size.*

Track 03 · Mask

We predict SPL distribution uniformity (within ±2 dB) for the masking system, locking in speaker layout, spacing, and zone output ahead of time. Paired with speech privacy metrics (DA · rD), we estimate the final commissioning targets during design. *We combine Treble's sound-field simulation with ASTM E1573 and ISO 3382-3 evaluation models in the deliverable.*

Prediction works best between schematic design and construction documents. After that, the cost of changes rises sharply.
