The offices of COASIA on the 16th floor of the IT Venture Tower in Garak-dong, Seoul. CORE in the open work areas and FACADE in the meeting and reception rooms — two textures of ANKER carpet tile define the character of each space.

COASIA created a new office on the 16th floor of the IT Venture Tower in Garak-dong, Seoul. Open work areas and meeting and reception rooms share a single floor, so the flooring was planned to distinguish each space while letting the whole floor read as one tone.
In a busy high-rise office with many resident staff, flooring must combine sound-absorbing performance that eases footstep and impact noise with durability that lasts. Wide open areas and enclosed meeting rooms also call for different moods.
The open work areas use ANKER CORE (Pebble), with its quiet texture, while the meeting and reception rooms use ANKER FACADE in a calm dark tone. Sharing the same grey family but differing in texture, the two naturally distinguish the hierarchy of spaces within one floor. The 500×500 carpet tiles are easy to replace in part, keeping maintenance light.
Interior design and construction were handled by Good&Company, and Tornex supplied the carpet tile of both collections as materials.
