Kitchen Maillard is a restaurant committed to delivering the finest taste to every guest. In keeping with the space's ethos of sincerity and craftsmanship in every meal, we chose wood-wool board — a material with a calm, natural texture — as the finish.

Wood-wool board is an eco-friendly material made from wood fiber, Portland cement, and water. It is recyclable and has a service life of up to 50 years. Free of volatile organic compounds (VOC) and highly breathable, it also supports the indoor air quality of the spaces where guests dine.

Installation Tailored to a Polygonal Structure

The installation environment at Kitchen Maillard was demanding — a polygonal layout rather than a conventional rectangle. We responded flexibly to these conditions, executing a custom installation that dressed the surfaces of walls and columns in wood-wool board.

The calm, stable beige tone reduces noise and creates a visually restful impression. On select columns, a rust-red accent was added to punctuate the space, forming a contrast with the beige surfaces that lends the dining area a modern, refined atmosphere.

We supply wood-wool board in seven patterns and 21 colors, making it possible to compose a wide range of design combinations within a single space. At Kitchen Maillard, this combination elevated the quality of the dining experience and created an environment where guests can enjoy each meal in greater comfort.
