On October 25, 2025, Gyeonggi Library — the province's new hub of knowledge and culture — opened its doors. An open space that connects people with people, and knowledge with emotion, through books, it balances a structure steeped in natural light with the warm tones of its interior.

Sustainable Materials, Quiet Spaces

To deliver acoustic stability and visual warmth together, we applied PET Acoustic Panels to the walls and furniture elements of select spaces.

A Tornex Table That Carries Both Function and Design

The catalogue search counters and reading tables distributed across each floor of the Gyeonggi Library were designed and manufactured entirely by Tornex. We combined beige and orange tones to allow the furniture to integrate naturally with the interior of each space. The structure preserves full acoustic absorption performance, so sound reflection is minimised even in the library's quiet environment, providing users with a comfortable feel and a sense of calm.
