Clestra Hauserman — A showroom whose mood changes with a magnet
At partition specialist Clestra Hauserman's headquarters showroom in Sangam, Seoul, Tornex applied magnet-mounted melamine foam design tiles and sound-absorbing PET wavy panels — turning steel partitions into a reconfigurable design wall that also absorbs sound.

Clestra Hauserman builds the movable partitions that divide office space. Its headquarters showroom in Sangam, Seoul, had to show firsthand what finishes and atmosphere those partitions can carry. Over the partitions' steel surface, we mounted melamine-foam design tiles with magnets. Because they attach and detach without nails or adhesive, the colors and patterns can be swapped to restyle the showroom's mood from one day to the next — no tools required.
The melamine-foam design tile is itself a sound absorber. It works as a wall finish while absorbing sound at the same time, taming the reverberation of a showroom that hosts frequent meetings. In the zones that needed more absorption, we added PET wavy panels — their undulating, wave-like surface casts light and shadow while securing additional absorptive area.
Made from recycled PET, the wavy panels ship in their finished color with no separate painting, so they meet the showroom's finish standards as-is. Pairing the melamine-foam design tiles with the PET wavy panels, we completed a showroom that stays quiet and refined while its atmosphere can be changed at will.
