Reviewing flooring documents for a commercial fit-out, you may find the same product under different names. Drawings and catalogues say LVT; quotes and site conversations say deco tile.
If the two names are not sorted out, a buyer can end up approving a different product believing it is the same one.
Deco tile and LVT name the same material
Both names refer to tile-format flooring made by pressing PVC layers together.
LVT (luxury vinyl tile) is the term used by international markets and manufacturer catalogues. Deco tile is the name that stuck in Korean distribution and on job sites.
Korean retail listings still carry both names side by side, as in “LVT deco tile” — because they name the same product.
Where the names split
Manufacturer catalogues file commercial lines under LVT, with line names below it: Prestige and Botanic at LX Hausys, Gold Tile at Hyundai L&C.
Quotes and site documents, on the other hand, may write the same product as deco tile, PVC tile, or a line name alone.
Names alone cannot confirm that two documents point to the same product. The reference then is the item code and the specification, not the name.

Searching for flooring, you will also meet sheet vinyl (jangpan) and carpet tile. Sorting them by form and material is the quickest way.

Check the specification, not the name
Whatever the documents call it, the same item code means the same product. Match the codes before confirming an order.
Without a code, compare three specifications side by side. Check the wear layer that sets surface life, the overall thickness behind subfloor tolerance, and the use class.
