Brief

When Hanmaeum Energy Solutions opened its new office in the Gangnam district of Seoul, it wanted a single, continuous floor finish running from the meeting room through the open work areas.

Vault Design Works, responsible for the interior, looked for a neutral-toned floor that would preserve the natural light and city views from the full-height windows without competing for attention.

The chosen ANKER SHADES carpet tile, SHD-(01)601040, is a light-grey monolithic pattern built from layered light and shadow, quietly bridging the wood furniture of the meeting room and the bright finishes of the open office.

Tornex supplied the SHADES carpet tile for this project. With αw 0.25 sound absorption and a PVC- and bitumen-free Unit Back backing, the floor balances design with everyday performance.
